Premier Guitar has published a story about how "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's (PANTERA, DAMAGEPLAN) "Dean From Hell" Dean ML was created and took a full circle trip before being returned to its owner prior to the release of PANTERA's "Cowboys From Hell" album. Read it at this location.

Darrell Abbott was best known as the lead guitarist for PANTERA. The multi-platinum, Grammy-nominated band dominated the heavy metal world of the 1990s. The musician was shot and killed on December 8, 2004 in Columbus, Ohio while performing onstage with his new project, DAMAGEPLAN. He was 38 years old.
